Welcome to North Loop Elementary, home of the Jaguars!!
We Are International!
Bonjour! North Loop has recently changed its name to North Loop International School. We offer a dual-language program where students can learn Spanish, French, and Japanese.
TEA Accountability Rating
The Texas education agency has rated North Loop Elementary with a score of 88, which converts to a letter grade of B+. North Loop was also awarded a distinction for comparison of closing the gaps in education. Learning at our campus is engaging, rigorous, and relevant. Students are excited and challenged in each classroom, grade level, and throughout our school. North Loop's faculty and staff are committed to ensuring that all students reach their maximum academic potential, develop a strong sense of integrity, and learn the life skills needed to become successful citizens in their community.
After School Fun
Students also have many opportunities to join many after-school clubs, such as; cheerleading, e-sports, science, math, art, bluebonnet book club, golf, gifted & talented, and UIL (Spelling, Creative Writing, Number Sense, Oral Reading, Storytelling). Teachers at North Loop Elementary make sure that the students are well-rounded and very engaged.
Robotics
We are very proud of our robotics team. They did a fantastic job in this past year's district competitions. They won first place in the Texas Region 1 VEX IQ Championship, allowing them to travel to Dallas, TX to compete in the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championship, ending with an 8th-place ranking in their division. This season, the new members managed to get a 2nd-place ranking in our first local competition. Go Jaguars!
