Points of Pride
Desert View Middle School is a place where high expectations are the norm; a norm established from opening day in 1981. We provide an academically rich and emotionally nurturing environment for all students. Teaming provides opportunity for the teachers to develop strong bonds with students and parents in order to work together for student success. Desert View Middle School has been designated as an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) National Demonstration School since March 2011. This distinction highlights our commitment to preparing all students for success in high school and college. We have been featured on KVIA Estela’s Escuelas focusing on the impact of Chromebooks in the classroom, which students received as part of the Engage Me initiative.
DVMS students will be attending the annual Student Showcase at Central Office.
Students will showcase amazing projects they've work so hard during the school year.
