Hanks JROTC Cadets perform hundreds of community service hours annually. Besides supporting many community organizations, Hanks JROTC is responsible for an Adopt a Highway section and an Adopt a River section. The cadets are proud of what they do for their community and their efforts have been awarded--they are the recipients of the Best Adopt a Highway Program in West Texas, an award presented to the Hanks JROTC eadership at an event held in Austin Texas. Freezing, windy conditions did not dampen the cadets' motivation to serve their community!
