Indian Ridge surpasses book fair goal
  • Mr. Gonzalez gets his head shaved after students exceeded goal of $3,000

Charles Gonzalez, Assistant Principal at Indian Ridge Middle, agreed to shave his head if the school reached a goal of $3,000 in sales during the Book Fair.

The Hawks not only met the $3,000 goal but surpassed it by $700. Over 150 students attended the book fair held in the Indian Ridge library on Jan. 24.

Mr. Gonzalez, a man who was true to his word, shaved his head in support of school wide literacy and offered an entertaining reward for the students. Way to go Hawks!
