Todd Fronce and a group of about 30 students have set out to create a “culture of kindness” through their “Mission I’m Possible” project.
An article was written in the Character Counts Educator Blog about these student's extraordinary mission. Character Counts is "the biggest character education program in the nation," according to their website.
The outstanding group of students meets weekly with Mr. Fronce and several other counselors to discuss ways promote courtesy, well-being, kindness, and honesty into their everyday lives at school. After each meeting, counselors issue out missions to the students that they must carry out. Some missions included leaving kind notes and words of wisdom in hallways, the cafeteria, and classrooms. Other missions asked students to offer praise to a certain number of people throughout their day.
