Points of Pride
REL Washington Elementary School is an international school providing students in kindergarten through third grade in the dual language program the opportunity to develop high levels of proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Spanish. Students are also provided the opportunity to learn a third language allowing them to become trilingual and be exposed to the German culture. The international program helps students develop positive attitudes toward those who speak other languages and have different cultures.
Students in 3rd through 6th grade will each have a digital device available through out the day allowing them to have instant access to technology resources in their classroom. By having one-to-one digital devices, students now have the necessary tools at their disposal allowing them to develop 21st century skills.
We also offer many extra curricular activities and clubs for students to engage in creating opportunities for students to collaborate school wide and not just within their classroom. We strive to create a safe and positive learning environment for all students at REL Washington Elementary School by constantly improving and implementing anti-bullying measures and promoting friendship and kindness.

Parent Engage Me Meetings
It's not too late! Thank you parents who attended the two Engage Me parent meetings. We had a wonderful turn out on both days! We understand, however, that many circumstances may have prevented parents from attending the meetings. Parents may still get credit for attending a meeting by doing one of the following:
1. Parents may attend an Engage Me meeting at another school. If you have children who attend another, school such as a middle school, you may attend that Engage Me meeting there.
2. We will be offering the Engage Me parent meeting information in the REL Washington Library throughout the school day.
Don't forget that parents must also sign the Device Agreement in Power Parent in order to complete the check out requirements. This is found under the Parents section on this website.
