North Star Elementary School, located in beautiful northeast El Paso, first opened its doors in January 2003. Since its opening, it continues to be one of the top performing schools in the entire city. North Star's most recent recognition is achieving a 97 score by the Texas Education Agency and being named an "A" campus. We proudly serve about 500 students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Our campus is honored to be recognized as the top elementary school in El Paso County by Niche, a leading platform connecting studentsniche and families with schools. These results are based on the analysis of key statistics and reviews from families using data from the  U.S. Department of Education. Extra Curricular Activities
VEX Robotics: Fourth and fifth graders are provided the opportunity to join our campus Robotics Club. Members get hands-on experience building, driving, and programming the robots they've created. Top campus teams get to compete against other teams at various district competitions with a chance to go to Regionals, State, and World Competitions.

eSports: This club will make its debut at North Star this school year and will be open to third, fourth, and fifth graders. This program provides many of the same benefits of traditional sports. Teamwork, communication, strategy, and sportsmanship are learned through organized gaming. For our students, adding an eSports league can only help them further develop the cognitive skills we currently refine during their core instruction. Students who participate in eSports show that they have placed a higher value on a number of social skills including perseverance, team building, empathy, critical thinking, effort in school, a sense of belonging, school engagement, and school value.
