VEX IQ Robotics: Embark on a journey of innovation with our VEX Robotics program at Parkland Elementary School! Designed exclusively for our fourth and fifth graders, the Robotics Club opens doors to an exciting world of hands-on exploration.
As club members, students delve into the realms of building, driving, and programming their very own robots. This hands-on experience fosters creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork—essential skills that lay a strong foundation for future success.
Our dedicated teams of young innovators don't just stop at the campus level. They rise to the challenge and showcase their creations at district competitions. The best and brightest teams earn the opportunity to advance to Regionals, State, and even the World Competitions—an extraordinary chance to shine on a global stage.
Discover the endless possibilities of robotics, where curiosity knows no bounds. Join our VEX Robotics Club and watch your child's potential come to life through the art of creation, innovation, and friendly competition. This club made its debut at Parkland Elementary last school year and is open to third, fourth, and fifth graders. This program provides many of the same benefits of traditional sports. Teamwork, communication, strategy, and sportsmanship are learned through organized gaming. For our students, adding an eSports league can only help them further develop the cognitive skills we currently refine during their core instruction. Students who participate in eSports show that they have placed a higher value on a number of social skills, including perseverance, team building, empathy, critical thinking, effort in school, a sense of belonging, school engagement, and school value.
