Welcome to Parkland Pre-Engineering Middle School, Home of the Novilleros!
At Parkland Pre-Engineering Middle School, we believe in creating a program of instruction that is relevant, rigorous, and builds success for our students. We believe in nurturing their body, mind, and soul through a variety of academic and extracurricular activities to make their middle school years a positive experience.
Our campus has been designated a Texas School to Watch by the National Middle Schools Forum in Washington, D.C. We are only one of two schools selected in the City of El Paso and one of 15 schools selected in the State of Texas. We went through a rigorous selection process and are very proud to say that we are one of the best middle schools in the state of Texas and the United States!
The high caliber of instruction in our T-STEM program provides our students the education to be successful in courses taken in T-STEM at the high school. We strive to align our T-STEM curriculum with our feeder high school to assure our students continue to enhance their education in the T-STEM field throughout high school and college.
We offer extracurricular activities at our campus, such as sports, fine/performing arts, and clubs that interest students. Our athletic programs strive for success and provide multiple opportunities for students to excel with the proper equipment and facilities. Students in our performing and visual arts programs (to include band, orchestra, art, choir, guitar, piano, and dance) have earned recognition for excellence at numerous competitions, as well as top rankings for performances and multiple awards at the University Interscholastic League competition. We offer students the opportunity to participate in a variety of organizations, such as Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Book Club, Rachel’s Challenge, and T-STEM.
Our phenomenal campus is led by Dr. Angela Reyna, recipient of the Region 19 Middle School Principal of the Year award and Top 3 Finalist for Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Principal of the Year. Her vision for student achievement and a school culture like no other are just two reasons why The Park is the premier middle school in Northeast El Paso. Our committed faculty and staff, under Dr. Reyna’s leadership, are the true heart of our school and look forward to serving your child with Tier I instruction, which will prepare him/her for College and Career Readiness.
Every Student. Every Day. Whatever It Takes. It Begins With Us.
