The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is a 36-week class consisting of both didactic and hands-on learning. The objective of the program is to equip students with knowledge, technical skills, and work habits required to become an integral member of an emergency medical team as an EMT-Basic (EMT-B). The EMT-B program encourages active student participation via hands-on experience and on the job training through clinical rotations in both the hospital emergency room and ambulance.
