Anti-Bullying Leadership Challenge AWARDED QUARTERLY
YOU can help Stand for the Silent and Humanity Rising reach more students and spread the movement by participating in this fundraising initiative. Once you have an anti-bullying service story, create and upload a 60-second video, and share it with us. This can just be you talking, or you can get creative and share pictures of your service. Humanity Rising Service Scholarship AWARDED QUARTERLY
ELIGIBILITY:
- to qualify, create and upload a 60-second video to share your service story
- once you have a service story to share, create and upload a 60-second video, and share it with us. This can just be you talking, or you can get creative and share pictures of your service
* there are no minimum hours required and no specific activity that is more or less compelling in the eyes of our judges. We’re looking for service that was impactful and meaningful to you and those who benefitted from your volunteerism or innovative service project. A good rule of thumb is at least ten (10) hours of overall engagement. -
Pulse of Perseverance Scholarship DEADLINE 1st of every Month
Who Can Apply?• High school students (to assist families with education-related expenses such as school fees, school supplies, uniforms, college application fees)
• College students (to assist with education-related expenses such as books, fees, advanced degree applications)Application Criteria1. Students must read the book, "Pulse of Perseverance: Three Black Doctors on Their Journey to Success" and submit a 250-word essay focusing on how they are currently making a difference in their community and why they believe they have the #pulseofperseverance. The essay should incorporate specific themes from the book that most resonate with you.
2. Students must provide proof of current enrollment (transcripts, letter of good standing, proof of registration, college acceptance letters, etc.) which should be emailed with your name in subject line to: pulsescholarships@gmail.com
3. All applicants must submit a short video on why they possess the #pulseofperseverance and what the scholarship will mean to them. Video clips must be no longer than 60 seconds. Videos become the property of Pulse of Perseverance and may be posted on our social websites. Videos should be emailed with your name in subject line to: pulsescholarships@gmail.com
Applications are due on the first of every month.
Scholarship winners will be notified on the 15th of every month via our website and social media outlets. Other scholarship winners will be awarded during our college book tour (upcoming dates will be provided in the near future). All scholarship checks will be sent within 3-5 business days after public announcement of the scholarship winner and student has submitted all documentation to claim award. -
Lancome Write Her Future Scholarship (Seniors) due MAY 20
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicant must be a Black student or student of color
- Applicant must identify as female
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior
- Applicant must be enrolling in an accredited 4-year, tax-exempt academic institution
- Applicant must be an NAACP member
- Applicant must be a current participant in an active ACT-SO program
- Applicant must complete the Write Her Future scholarship application and video prompt submissions through the Inspire Initiatives scholarship portal
- Applicant must be available to travel July 14-17, 2022 if awarded the scholarship

Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship due MAY 23
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a graduating senior enrolled at a high school in El Paso County.
- Must demonstrate scholarly distinction
– GPA 3.0

Finance Academy Scholarship (9-12 grade) due MAY 27
This scholarship contest is open to any U.S. student in grades 9-12 who has completed at least one module of a Finance Academy course during the 2021 – 2022 school year. The scholarship contest will run in both the fall and spring semesters. Spring semester entries must be received by May 27, 2022 at 5:00pm EST.

American Heart Association Scholarship (JR/SR) due MAY 30
Requirements:
- Must be a current high school junior or senior
- Demonstrate leadership skills at your school’s American Heart Challenge event
- Have a passion for impacting the health of your community
- A letter of support by your American Heart Challenge school advisor

Humanity Scholarship (Seniors) due MAY 30
Requirements:- Must be a current high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior.
- Plan to attend an accredited college, university, or community college in the upcoming academic year.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a GPA of 2.50 or higher.

2022 Triumph Over Adversity Scholarship (Seniors) due MAY 31
Scholarship Eligibility
In order to be considered eligible for The Triumph Over Adversity Scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college the following semester are also eligible to apply. All applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

AEL Collegiate Essay Contest (Senior) due MAY 31
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be a current undergraduate college or university student in an accredited four-year U.S. college or university. Incoming first-year students (i.e., high school seniors) and college students who graduate the year of the competition are eligible to apply.

Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship AWARDED QUARTERLY
Who can apply? Open to high school, college, and graduate school students of all years. Must be currently enrolled full time (in high school or at an accredited university) or planning on enrolling within 24 months.
Deadline: Quarterly (last day of the month in March, June, September & December!).

Feeding Tomorrow Scholarship due JUL 1
General Eligibility:
- Applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
- Applicant must plan to enroll as a full-time freshman student pursuing an undergraduate degree in science of food at a U.S. or international university for the 2022–2023 academic year
- Specific scholarships may also have other eligibility based on focus or topic area
