• Special Education records collected and kept by the Ysleta Independent School District must be maintained for a period of five years after services have ended for the student. Services terminate when the student graduates, completes his or her educational program, ages out (22 years of age), withdraws, or moves from the District.

    The Ysleta Independent School District is scheduled to destroy records of students who were last served under Special Education during the 2015-2016 school year. If your child was a student who was receiving services from Ysleta ISD Special Education, you may pick up your child’s special education file from September 17, 2021, to October 1, 2021.
