Edgemere Elementary is continuing a tradition of excellence that started when it opened its doors in 1963. Each year our students perform among the top schools in the district. In 2017, Edgemere received four Distinction Designations: Academic Achievement in Mathematics, Top 25 Percent: Student Progress, Top 25 Percent: Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness. Dual Language/Chinese Program
Edgemere provides a dual language option for students starting in Kindergarten which will provide instruction in English and Spanish. Dual language students also participate in our Chinese program and receive daily instruction to develop writing, reading and communication skills in Chinese through daily life activities. Edgemere offers a myriad of programs and clubs after school to help ensure the academic, social and physical development of our students. Students have the opportunity to participate in programs such as dance teams, double dutch, and chess.
