Purpose:
The Elementary Instructional Team builds capacity with campus instructional coaches, administrators, and teachers to support student learning and teacher practice. Through the Instructional Coaching Model, we support individual and group professional learning communities that will expand and refine the understanding about researched-based effective instruction for teachers in order to impact student success.
Commitment:
The Elementary Department is committed to closing the achievement gap while improving academic performance for ALL students through the YISD Strategic Plan. The Elementary Department oversees a range of district resources, programs and initiatives.
