Points of Pride
Del Norte Heights offers the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program to all students. We implement the EiE (Engineering in Elementary) hands-on approach to learning. Students apply their knowledge of science and math using the essence of engineering and art expanding their understanding of technology. The curriculum has been designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, inventors, and innovators.
Del Norte Heights Elementary School is the first recipient of the Ysleta ISD elementary schools to receive a CREST award. CREST stands for Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas. Rachel’s Club addresses student safety where students spread acts of kindness throughout the school and promote acceptance and belonging to all students.
