Hello, my name is and I have the honor of being the Librarian/G.T. Coordinator at Del Valle Elementary School.  I chose this profession because I truly want to instill the love of reading in all students not only for academic purposes but for the sheer pleasure of the enjoyment of reading.  I want young readers to be able to put themselves in the shoes of Patricia Polacco growing up, travel into a different dimension with Neil Gaiman, see the literary and artistic world of Kevin Henkes, and to travel the world through books!  As the Del Valle Elementary Librarian, I will strive to promote the love of reading in all students, ensure that all students have access to books, and freedom to read any book their hearts desire.
