LeBarron Park Elementary School creates a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for students’ success in their education. Through collaboration of the school community - students, parents, teachers, support teachers, staff and administrators this can be accomplished.
LeBarron Park provides different instructional programs that include 2nd – 5th grades one on one student laptops, iPads, 2 Computer Labs, One/Two Way Dual Language, Reading Framework, 100 Readers Club, Thinking Maps, Gifted and Talented, Technology Rich Campus, Hands on Science Technology, and Boys/Girls Town Discipline Program. Fine Arts Program: Art, Band & Orchestra. Beginning 2016 - 2017 school year, LeBarron Park will launch a Pre-K Program.
LeBarron offers many after school student programs such as Photography, Recorder Band, Cheerleading (3rd, 4th, 5th), Drama Club, Student Council, and Robotics. LeBarron also advocates for Parent/Community Involvement by providing different events throughout the year. The events include Drama Play in fall and spring, Literacy Night, Parenting/Literacy Classes, Science Night, Spring Program, Book Fair twice a year, Stargazing Night, Technology Expo, Movie Night and more.
At LeBarron, students experience several educational trips that will allow them to increase their knowledge in different subject areas. Students are able to attend the Zoo, Licon Dairy, Chamizal, Fifer Ranch, Kids N Cows; UTEP, Carlsbad Caverns, Planetarium; Symphony, GT, Adventures in Learning, and Insights Museum.
LeBarron Park is a place where students succeed and where families are involved. It provides a perfect setting for children to grow and bloom. One of our goals is to serve and nurture all our students.
