Mesa Vista Turns 50

Mesa Vista Turns 50!

Mesa Vista Elementary turned 50 this year! In true Mesa Vista fashion, we celebrated our 50 years of excellence in 50's style holiday performances. Each grade level performed a Holiday song created in the 1950's to an audience of 200 people, including our Superintendent, Dr. Xavier De La Torre. Mrs. Connie Vasquez was our special alum and made a captivating speech of what it means to be a true Leopard. She was joined by other alums in the front rows that once called Mesa Vista home. They were also treated to a delicous lunch and played games with our Mesa Vista Student Council.

Our guests were greeted by our Bel Air High School Pipes Band and our very own Mesa Vista Cheerleaders. The event included 50th anniversary t-shirts, a 50's Photo Booth, music, and fun. Lastly, it wouldn't be a birthday celebration without birthday cake!

Here is to many more Mesa Vista birthdays!
