Our first grade students learned about the history of the Sundial and the parts needed to make one. After designing and planning their engineering notebooks, students in their groups created their very own sundial. After testing their sundials outside and measuring the results, students then noted what worked and what didn't work. STEM at Ramona is an all-year learning experience.
