Ysleta ISD STEM program featured in USA Today

STEM Ysleta ISD supports a global education where our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed. And now YISD is recognized nationally!  Our innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program is featured on the USA Today “Rethink American High Schools With XQ Super Schools” webpage.

Thanks to a partnership with the El Paso STEM Foundation, YISD has implemented successful STEM programs at several schools. The newspaper has highlighted 10 schools across the nation with a video about what they are doing in their community to prepare students for the future.

According to the USA Today website, “XQ: The Super School Project took its mission on the road with a 30-city tour in a remodeled school bus, stopping in cities across the country to hear from the change agents who are rethinking high school: educators, parents, school administrators, entrepreneurs, business leaders and — most importantly — students themselves.”
