YISD to hold surplus portable building auction on June 24
Ysleta ISD will be holding a public auction for surplus items on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Two auctions will take place. The first will begin at 8 a.m. which allows time for registration and preview of the unit at Del Valle High School, 950 Bordeaux. (1 damaged portable) Immediately after the sale is completed, the second auction will begin at Lancaster Elementary School, located approximately 1.2 miles down North Loop St. at 9230 Elgin for 7 portables. (see photos below)
Auction begins shortly after arrival of registered buyers with some time allowed for preview of bldgs. All bills must be paid in full, within one hour after the conclusion of the auction. Call 434-0261 for more info.
TERMS OF SALE: All items are sold in as is / where is condition, without recourse. All sales are final. The auctioneer shall not be held responsible for the correct description, authenticity of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in inventory, or any defect not noted. Please take advantage of the preview time to inspect the items. The principal reserves the right to refuse bids. All bids are subject to final approval by YISD. YISD reserves the right to add or delete items. The auctioneer is acting as agent only and is not responsible for acts of the principal. Principal will not be held responsible for any theft or damage to unit after unit has been sold. Once unit is sold, owner takes full responsibility.
PAYMENT: CASH ONLY! (NO EXCEPTIONS.) All bills must be paid in full, within one hour after the conclusion of the auction.
PICK-UP OF ITEMS: All units must be removed from the premises by June 24, 2016. If an item is sold to you, you are responsible for payment and pick up of that item within the specified time frame. If you do not comply you will lose all interest and no refund will be made to you. Buyer is responsible for loading and transportation of units at his own expense. RULES & REGULATIONS: Persons attending the preview, auction, or removal of goods assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and property and specifically release the auctioneer or his principal from liability. Therefore neither, the auctioneer or his principal shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held. No smoking allowed on the premises. Buyer will be responsible for any damage to district property that occurs during removal of the portable units. Announcements at sale take precedence.
