Riverside High School Class of 2021 graduated on Monday, June 14th. A total of 217 students walked across the stage as proud Ranger Graduates!
The school's Salutatorian, Nathaniel Gomez, will be attending Texas Tech University, where he will pursue a degree in finance and accounting. He received a scholarship from Texas Tech University and the Ysleta Education Foundation Academic Scholarship totaling over $11,000. He was an All-State Academic athlete, Student Body Vice President, and member of the Varsity Basketball team.
Ranger Valedictorian Jennifer Carmona will attend the University Of Texas at El Paso, where she plans to pursue a degree in Kinesiology and hopes to attain her doctorate in physical therapy. She received the UTEP Presidential Scholarship and the Ysleta Education Foundation Academic Scholarship totaling over $10,000. She was a National Honor Society Officer and choir member, mariachi, theater, and Silver Dancers.
