Ysleta ISD names new Director of CTE

The Ysleta Independent School District is pleased to announce that Hugo Martinez, current interim director of Career and Technical Education (CTE), has been appointed the new director of CTE, effective Nov. 28.

Martinez began his career in education in 2006 as a business education teacher at Andress High School. During his tenure in education, Martinez has also served as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) coordinator and CTE coordinator.

Martinez holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Texas at El Paso and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
