Ysleta ISD holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Riverside ES

The approximately 116,000-square-foot, $40-million Riverside Elementary School – built on the former Cedar Grove Elementary School site – opened its doors to students for the first time in Fall 2022. It offers a spacious, modern learning environment that includes interactive displays, technology upgrades, and flexible furniture to enhance instruction.

Riverside Elementary School is among several new schools constructed through Ysleta ISD’s Bond 2019 program, which is being used to address aging campuses, provide additional safety and security measures, upgrade all campuses to refrigerated air-conditioning, and renovate/build new schools.
