Rebellion Robotics Headed to Worlds

The Riverside Middle School Rebellion robotics teams have had a very successful season. They have won awards and have won the Teamwork Challenge at every competition they have attended this season. They have won 8 Teamwork Challenge Champion awards, 4 Robot Skills Champion awards, 3 Teamwork Challenge 2nd Place awards, 2 Judge’s Awards, and 1 Think Award. Most recently, The Rebellion Robotics qualified all 5 teams to the Texas Region 1 State Competition. Although 4 RMS teams qualified for the finals, team 22401C with drivers Gabby Garcia and Isaiah Lopez, won the Teamwork Challenge Champion. They were named Texas Region 1 Teamwork Challenge State Champions. Team 22401C also earned the highest Robot Skills score and were also named Texas Region 1 Robot Skills State Champions. Team 22401B earned the Judges Award. Team 22401E earned the Think Award. Riverside Middle School earned 4 of the 10 awards given at the Texas Region 1 State Competition, which was the most awards earned by a single school. Team 22401C The Rebel Alliance will be representing the City of El Paso and Ysleta ISD in Louisville, Kentucky at the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship on April 26th-28th. Good Luck Rebellion!
