Roberto Aguirre, the valedictorian of Ysleta High School, has been accepted to the University of Texas at El Paso. He will pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering as his major, and hopes to use this qualification in his future career. To aid his studies, Roberto has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship to attend UTEP.  

Aiyana Medina, the salutatorian of Ysleta High School, has been accepted to attend the University of Texas at El Paso.  Her major of study will be in Business with a minor in Marketing.  Aiyana received the Terry Scholarship, a full ride from the University of Texas at El Paso.
