Ysleta High School 2022 Homecoming Celebration
Ysleta High School is proud to honor 2022 Honored Ex Sotero G. Ramirez III, (Class of 1977).
Sotero G. Ramirez III, the elected Ysleta area representative on the YISD Board of Trustees, is a former paramedic and communications officer with the City of El Paso’s Emergency Medical Services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Park University. Mr. Ramirez taught EMT paramedic classes as an adjunct professor at El Paso Community College (EPCC) for 15 years and now serves as a full-time EPCC instructor. Mr. Ramirez, who has been elected to serve office multiple times during his 34 years with the Boy Scouts of America, has lived in the Ysleta community for more than 35 years.
Thursday, Sept. 8
6:30 p.m. – Homecoming parade begins at Capistrano parking lot, proceeds west on Mecca, making a right heading north on Padres, turning left on Alameda, and concluding on Davis St. The parade will file into Hutchins Stadium for the homecoming pep rally.
Home Coming Activities:
Homecoming Pep Rally – Immediately following the parade. Enjoy performing groups and a message from Honored Ex, Mr. Sotero Ramirez III. All alumni, faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.
