The Ysleta Independent School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Sanchez as internal auditor, effective today.

Sanchez, who currently serves as senior staff auditor at Ysleta ISD, began her career in 2001 as an audit associate at KPMG. She has served in both the public and private sectors as a staff auditor, assistant director of internal auditing, director of internal auditing, and senior auditor.

Sanchez, who is credentialed as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
