Ysleta ISD holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Scotsdale ES

The approximately 117,000-square-foot, $40-million Scotsdale Elementary School – built on its current site – opened its doors to students for the first time in Fall 2022. It offers a spacious, modern educational environment that includes interactive displays, technology upgrades, and flexible furniture to enhance instruction.

Scotsdale Elementary School is among several new schools constructed through Ysleta ISD’s Bond 2019 program, which is being used to address aging campuses, provide additional safety and security measures, upgrade all campuses to refrigerated air-conditioning, and renovate/build new schools.
