This past weekend, the Eastwood High School Math and Science Team competed at the TMSCA High School State Competition. This statewide competition was held in San Antonio at UTSA on Saturday, March 19th. The troopers who were able to place within the top 10 for their events are as follows:

• Brooke Navidomskis (9^th grade): 8^th place in Number Sense, 6^th place in Calculator Applications, 8^th place in Mathematics, and 3^rd place in Science.
• Tony Ramos (9^th grade): 7^th place in Number Sense, 5^th place in Calculator Applications, 10^th place in Mathematics, and 7^th place in Science.
• Matthew Moore (10^th grade): 7^th place in Calculator Applications and 10^th place in Science.
• Thomas Moore (12^th grade): 3^rd place in Number Sense, 5^th place in Calculator Applications, 4^th place in Mathematics, 5^th place in Science, and 2^nd place overall Senior Top Gun.

Troopers like our Math and Science Team competitors really prove that Eastwood is El Paso's Finest. Wish them luck as they prepare for the UIL District competition coming up this Saturday on March 26^th at Franklin High School. Go Troop!
