Mia Laguna and Daniela Lopez, seniors at Riverside High School, took it upon themselves during their junior year to organize and execute a Job Fair for students. They collaborated with Work Force Solutions where they received their sponsorship and secured over 20 different local business to represent their organizations at the fair. The one-day job fair specifically targeted RHS students in order to help them land summer jobs. These amazing Lady Rangers did it all from conceptualizing the event, to working with the Principal, and collaborating with security and the custodial team to ensure this event ran smoothly. It was such a huge success, that they even landed a summer internship with Workforce Solutions, because they were so impressed by these ladies. We honor their contributions with the September 2022 President’s Award.
