The Del Valle High School Class of 2022 graduated a total of 487 students on June 2nd.
Del Valle High School's Valedictorian is Marlene Avitia. She is a true
ambassador of Del Valle High School. She is a member of the Principal's Advisory Committee, Student Council, National Honor Society, and the Class of 2022 President. She has been part of the Top 10% all four years, held a great rapport with her teachers, and has been awarded many honors. It is no surprise that she wants to become an engineer as an exceptional student and leader. She will attend Texas Tech University to pursue her future career.
Del Valle High School's Salutatorian is Alexandrea Paulyne Solis. She is a student of impeccable character who has demonstrated leadership qualities in all her duties assigned in classes and throughout campus. She was the Del Valle Band Drum Major, Band President, Battalion Chief of the DV Fire Tech, Captain of DV Fire Tech, Lt. DV Fire Tech, Disaster Response CERT Team Captain, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and in the Top 10% of her class all four years. She will be attending the University of Texas-El Paso and majoring in business.
