Several students from the Ysleta Independent School District were selected to serve on the GECU Student Board of Directors. 

Those selected will receive first-hand knowledge about GECU, its operations, and learn about being financially independent.  This will better prepare them for college, the workforce, and community involvement.

Students will meet monthly during the school year and participate in several GECU events to help promote financial literacy at their campuses.  

Thirty-two (32) schools participated and only four of them have two student representatives, which include Bel Air HS and Del Valle HS
