YWLA students attended presentations for all the schools that Texas Tech El Paso offers, such as the school of dentistry, the medical school, the school of nursing, and the biomedical studies programs. They were explaining the benefits of studying in those specific programs.
At the end of the presentations, they were allowed to visit booths of each school and get more information. Texas Tech gifted each student a back filled with different items all surrounding medical professions, like stethoscopes and 3D models of hearts or the brain.
