Ysleta ISD actively pursues private and public grant resources to support district and campus instructional initiatives, supplemental classroom resources, and facility enhancements. The Office of Competitive Grants ensures that each grant application is aligned to a district strategy and persuasively demonstrates how students will benefit.

Ysleta ISD encourages all personnel to seek grants that support district activities and the Office of Competitive Grants (OCG) serves as:

• A resource for funding opportunities and technical support.

• The first step in the mandatory central office administrative approval process.

• A partner with the school or department in writing major grant applications.

• A point of contact for the funder during the application and award process.
