Ysleta Independent School District's Gifted and Talented (GT)  program is committed to providing exemplary educational opportunities that recognize gifted and talented students' unique, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

What we offer:

The Ysleta Independent School District (YISD) is committed to serving the unique needs of intellectually gifted students through rigorous learning opportunities.  Gifted and talented students receive differentiated and challenging instruction in all elementary, middle, and high school campuses.  These differentiated and challenging learning experiences foster higher level thinking skills, concepts and generalization in depth and complexity, creative problem solving, reasoning, and acceleration of flexible pacing of state content.  YISD also offers special pull-out programs, independent studies, competitions, and Texas State Performance Projects. We offer pre-advanced placement courses, advanced placement courses, and dual credit courses at the high school level.
