The SBOE issued Proclamation 2024 at its April 2022 meeting to call for instructional materials related to K-12 Science, K-8 Technology Applications, High School Personal Financial Literacy & Economics, and multiple CTE courses. 

The SBOE is scheduled to adopt materials under Proclamation 2024 this coming November. The SBOE-adopted and/or district-adopted materials to support the TEKS of the included courses are then scheduled for implementation in the 2024–2025 school year.

 Ysleta Independent School District operates as a closed district during the adoption process.  All publishers with materials related to Proclamation 2024 should contact only the District Instructional Specialist for the subject or the District Instructional Materials Coordinator, Email Paul Covey. Publishers should not contact campus instructional staff.
