Over 30 Years of "Fulfilling Dreams by Investing in the Future"
-
The Ysleta Education Foundation (YEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 1992 to provide financial assistance to students in the Ysleta Independent School District (YISD). YEF is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of community members, as well as the YISD Superintendent who serves as an ex-officio member.
YEF has been fulfilling dreams by providing scholarships to graduating students for over 30 years. With the support of YISD's Employee Pledge Drive and sponsorships/donations from community organizations, YEF has awarded over 1,880 scholarships totaling more than $4.5 million to well-deserving students. These students represent a broad spectrum of excellence in academics, leadership, and community service, as well as attending and graduating from colleges and universities across the United States.
Funds can only be used for tuition, books, housing, and related expenses. Awards are made on a one-time, non-renewable basis without regard to race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
