The Ysleta Independent School District has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025, a prestigious award presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
The award list was announced Thursday, Aug. 21, and can be viewed on the Forbes website. Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025 through an independent survey from a vast sample of over 160,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within the U.S.
Over 2 million employer evaluations were considered. The final score is based on two types of employee evaluations:
· Personal (those given by employees themselves)
· Public (those given by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry)
Based on the results of the study, Ysleta ISD is honored to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025!
“Earning a place on the Forbes’ Best-In-State Employers list for the first time in 2024 was an exceptional feat for Ysleta Independent School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Xavier De La Torre. “Making the list again in 2025 reflects a strong workplace culture that is united in excellence, shaped by stability, and grounded in tradition.”
This recognition reinforces that Ysleta ISD continues to lead the industry on a regional and statewide level in employee satisfaction, setting a new standard for workplace excellence.
“Ysleta ISD’s dedicated employees are the driving force behind our success as the No. 1 highest-performing school district in the El Paso region,” Dr. De La Torre added. “As we move forward, our team’s shared commitment remains centered on what matters most: Providing a safe, supportive, and stable learning environment for every student that makes all the difference in helping them thrive and succeed.”
