The Ysleta Independent School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Veronica Gomez as Director of Support Personnel, effective Nov. 1.
Gomez, who currently works as a coordinator in the district’s Employee Relations Department, began her career at Ysleta ISD in 2013. Since that time, she has served in the positions of clerk, Human Resources (HR) generalist, investigator, lead investigator, and coordinator.
She brings an extensive knowledge of Human Resources operations – including onboarding, offboarding, position control, employment law, staffing, and investigations – to her new position as a director.
Gomez holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management, both from Park University.
