Ysleta ISD celebrated its 2026–27 Campus Teachers of the Year during a special ceremony on Feb. 9 at Eastwood High School. During the event, officials also announced the Top 10 finalists for the district’s highest teaching honors – Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year – listed below:
Top Five finalists for the 2026-27 Ysleta ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year:

All campus Teachers of the Year, as well as all campus Support Employees of the Year, will be honored at the district’s special “Run for the Roses” Gala on April 25. At the gala, the top two Ysleta ISD Teachers of the Year will be named, as well as the top Support Employee of the Year; campus Support Employees of the Year are currently being selected.
