Scotsdale ES Student Council

The Scotsdale Elementary School Student Council demonstrated exceptional leadership and service this school year with their commitment to making a meaningful impact throughout the El Paso community.

The Student Council, guided by its “Serve. Lead. Inspire.” motto, mobilized the entire campus to collect 2,272 pairs of socks for a local homeless shelter, organized a blanket drive to deliver warmth and dignity to residents of a women's shelter, and partnered with the El Paso Food Bank and the Office of Senator César Blanco to help combat food insecurity. The Student Council also proudly supported a Veterans Day event honoring more than 100 veterans for their service.

These Student Council members not only embody the values of Ysleta ISD, but they routinely put those values into action for the betterment of others. They are a wonderful example of the leadership, compassion, and service excellence we celebrate at The District, and we honor them with the April 2026 President's Award.
