Hanks, Ysleta, and Bel Air Boys soccer teams.

The 2026 UIL boys’ soccer season marked an outstanding year for Ysleta ISD, with three high schools – Bel Air, Hanks, and Ysleta – advancing to the state’s 4A and 5A Sweet 16 regional semifinals and cementing each as one of the premier soccer programs in the El Paso region.

BEL AIR HIGHLANDERS: 5A Division I District, Bi-District & Area Champions

The 2025-26 boys soccer season was defined by commitment, unity, and relentless determination. The Highlanders began the season still rounding into form, but finished with a strong surge that showcased their growth and resilience. Through trust, communication, and a sense of purpose, the team steadily closed the gap, battling through a competitive schedule to win District, Bi-District, and Area championships while compiling an impressive record of 22 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties. The Highlanders’ journey wasn’t just about wins, but about overcoming adversity, building brotherhood, and proving that determination can outweigh the challenges.

HANKS KNIGHTS: 5A Division II Bi-District & Area Champions

The 2025-26 season for the Hanks High School boys soccer team marked a strong turnaround for the program. After finishing last in district at 1-11 (3-17 overall) in 2025, the Knights improved to a 7-5 record in district, returning 95% of the same roster and showing consistent growth and commitment. The Knights captured Bi-District for the first time since 2014, and the Area Championship for the first time since 2006, finishing the season 13-12 overall and significantly increasing from 20 goals last year to 63 this season. Senior Forward Sebastian Manzur led the team with a school-record 42 goals, ranking first in the district and ninth in Texas across all classifications.

YSLETA INDIANS: 4A Division I Bi-District & Area Champions

The Indians achieved a milestone 15 years in the making during their outstanding 2025-26 boys soccer season, capturing both the Bi-District and Area championships for the first time since 2011. Finishing with an impressive 16-9 record, the team became Area champions for only the fourth time in school history – a remarkable accomplishment that reflects dedication, resilience, and teamwork. The Indians not only made history, but they also established a new standard of excellence for the boys soccer program and are paving the way for continued success.
