Scotsdale ES student wins spotlight at World Cup semifinals

Scotsdale Elementary School student Noah Lopez is having the summer break of a lifetime!

After Noah’s mother entered him in a raffle to win a spot in FIFA’s Player Escort program, the 9-year-old Scotsdale Cadet was selected among 2,000 children worldwide for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of escorting French soccer star and national team captain Kylian Mbappé onto the field before the July 14 World Cup semifinal match between Spain and France at AT&T Stadium in Arlington!

As part of the program, Noah’s family traveled to the game, and he was joined by his father inside the stadium while the rest of the family watched from the stands. Congratulations to Noah and his family on this impressive honor – we’re proud to call him one of our own!
