    North Star Elementary School, located in northeast El Paso, erp first opened in January 2003. Since its opening, it has been named a Texas Education Agency Exemplary or Recognized School. North Star's most recent recognition is achieving six out of six distinction designations by the Texas Education Agency and being named an "A" campus. 

    North Star was also recognized as a Texas Honor Roll School by Educational Results Partnership (ERP).     Our campus is honored to once again be recognized as a top elementary school in El Paso County by Niche, a leading platform connecting students and families with schools.     Extra Curricular Activities
    VEX Robotics: Fourth and fifth graders are provided the opportunity to join our campus Robotics Club. Members get hands-on experience building, driving, and programming the robots they've built. Top campus teams get to compete against other teams at various district competitions with a chance to go to Regionals, State, and World Competitions. At a recent competition hosted by Ysleta Middle School, our 5th grade team received 2nd Place in the finals earning a spot to compete at the Texas Region 1 VEX IQ Championship being held in February 2022.

    UIL: Students in third to fifth grade are given the opportunity to participate in UIL competitions. Students compete in oral reading and spelling against other elementary schools in El Paso.

    Parental Involvement
    Parents are invited to become district volunteers or join the Watch D.O.G.S. Program. (Dads Of Great Students).

    Little Free Library
    Swing by the front of our campus doors to have your children select a book or two from our Little Free Library.
