We are entering the final stretch of the school year with just 18 instructional days remaining, and we encourage everyone to make the very best of these last few weeks. This is a valuable time to stay focused, finish strong, and celebrate all the hard work that has been put in throughout the year. We ask for your partnership in ensuring that students are present every day and arrive on time, as every remaining day offers important learning opportunities.
As we wrap up this wonderful school year, we want to share a few happy reminders to help everything finish smoothly. Please take a moment to check and pay any outstanding Chromebook balances; you can easily find details on how to make online payments by scrolling down to the ITS section of this newsletter. We truly appreciate your help with this!
Looking ahead, be sure you have completed your child’s registration for next school year so we can prepare for a great start. For next year, YISD will no longer be providing school supplies to secondary schools, but a general supply list will be shared soon to give families time to prepare. We understand the financial challenges many families face, which is why the list will be kept as simple and manageable as possible.
Also, please remember that we do not have adult supervision on campus after 4:15 p.m., so for the safety of all students, we kindly ask that they are picked up on time each afternoon.
Sixth grade parents, we are excited to welcome your child next school year! In preparation for registration, please remember that all required student vaccinations must be up to date before registration can be completed. To help you plan ahead, please scroll down to the immunizations section for details on which vaccines are needed. We encourage you to take care of these early so your child’s registration goes smoothly and without delays. Thank you for your attention in this important step and we look forward to a great year!
