Rundown while Making Gains-May 19, 2025

📢 Raider Families! 📢

The countdown is on — we have just 8.5 instructional days left in the school year! As we approach the finish line, let's continue to encourage our students to stay focused and finish strong. Remember, the last day of school is a half day, and grades for the 4th 9 weeks are still being finalized. Please help us by reminding your student to submit all assignments on time and give their best effort until the very end.

We’ll begin collecting student Chromebooks on May 19th and will continue until all devices have been returned. Please ensure your child brings their school-issued Chromebook, charger, and case to avoid any delays. Thank you for your support in helping us wrap up the year smoothly! Scroll down to the ITS section of the newsletter for more details.

Invitations for our upcoming Awards Ceremony have been distributed. We are so proud of our students' accomplishments and can’t wait to celebrate them!

We will have a 2Love1 parent presentation on Thursday, May 22 in the cafeteria. Parents who attend will be able to have their student join them for the presentation; students will be promptly called out of class. For more details, please scroll down to the CIS section of the newsletter.

We also want to make you aware of a dangerous TikTok trend where students are placing paper clips into electrical outlets in an attempt to trip the breaker. This is extremely unsafe and can cause serious injury or damage. Please take a moment to talk with your child about the dangers of this behavior.

Parents, please note that backpacks will not be allowed during the last week of school. This is for safety reasons. Girls may bring a small handbag, if needed. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe environment for all.

School dismissal is at 4:00 PM, and we kindly ask that all students are picked up by 4:15 PM. There is no adult supervision after this time, so your cooperation is greatly appreciated in keeping our students safe.

If you have not already done so, please be sure to submit your transfer requests and complete registration for the 2025–2026 school year. If you have any questions or need assistance, our front office staff is happy to help.

Let’s finish this school year Raider Strong!
