📢 Raider Families! 📢
We are off to a fantastic start to the school year, and we couldn’t be prouder of our students! Despite being a large campus, our Raiders are adjusting beautifully, showing responsibility, respect, and Raider pride every day.
All students have now received their student IDs and Chromebooks. Please take a moment to talk with your child about the importance of wearing their ID badge daily—it’s a key part of our campus safety plan. A helpful tip: encourage your child to keep their ID in their backpack at night so it’s ready to go each morning. If a student forgets their ID, they’ll need to call home to have it brought in. Remember, the first ID is free, but replacement IDs are $8.
A quick reminder that dismissal is at 4:00 PM. We ask that all students are picked up on time. We do provide adult supervision at the front of the school until 4:30 PM to ensure our students are safe while they wait.
If your child is enrolled in advanced math, please be sure to scroll down for details on our upcoming Advanced Math Night—a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the program and how to support your child at home. Additionally, we will host a Gifted & Talented Parent Information session for anyone interested in learning more about our GT program and the nomination process. Please scroll down for more details.
On Wednesday, August 6th, we will be conducting our first fire drill of the school year. Please take some time to talk with your child regarding the importance of taking every drill seriously, and evacuating in a calm and safe manner.
Lastly, as we continue to balance class sizes and schedules, some students may see changes to their schedule. We appreciate your patience and support during this time. All changes will be finalized by Friday, August 8th.
