Shaping the Future of Design and Engineering
One of the core missions of the Parkland High School Engineering Program of Study is to equip students with real-world credentials before they walk across the graduation stage. This month, students in our T-STEM Academy took a massive step toward their future careers by challenging the Autodesk Fusion Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) Certification exam.
The Autodesk Fusion certification is a highly respected industry credential that validates the technical, 3D-modeling, and prototyping skills used directly in modern engineering design and drafting fields.
By passing this rigorous exam, our Matadors have earned a valuable asset that:
Strengthens college readiness for competitive engineering and architecture programs.
Boosts career pathways by providing verified credentials for immediate industry employment.
Saves families money, as the certification exam is offered 100% free of charge to all students enrolled in the Parkland engineering program.
97% Success Rate: Spotlighting Ms. Garcia's Class
Earning an industry-based certification while handling a full high school course load is no easy feat—but our students made it look easy.
Parkland High School is incredibly proud to announce that 97% of Ms. Garcia's engineering class passed their exams to become officially Autodesk Fusion certified!
"Seeing the hard work, late hours, and dedication of these students culminate in a 97% pass rate is phenomenal," said Ms. Garcia. "They didn't just learn the software; they mastered a professional tool that will give them a distinct advantage in the workforce and post-secondary education."
With the Technology Student Association (TSA) banner hanging proudly behind them, these certified students are a testament to the culture of excellence and academic pride that defines the Northeast.
