Get ready to move and have fun at Fitness Friday! We invite you to join your child for some physical activity and school spirit. Students and families are encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey to show off their team pride! Check the graphic for grade-level times, and come ready to cheer, exercise, and enjoy a fun-filled event together! We can’t wait to see you there! 💪🏆

We’re challenging our 3rd-5th grade students to show up and win big! Each week, the grade level with the highest attendance average (95% or higher) will earn a FREE DRESS PASS for the entire grade! 👕🎟️ Let’s work together to build strong attendance habits and keep our students on track for success. Who will take the top spot this week? 💪

We are excited to introduce a fun new way to encourage attendance for our Kinder-2nd grade students! Every time their class reaches 100% attendance, they will earn a letter. Once they collect all the letters to spell ATTENDANCE, their class will get to celebrate with a popcorn, ice cream, or chip party! 🎈🎉 Thank you for helping us build great attendance habits. Let’s work together to keep our students in school and ready to learn every day!

**What Parents Need to Know About the 90% Attendance Rule** Texas schools require students to attend at least 90% of school days to pass their grade or earn class credit. Here’s how you can help: - **Schedule wisely:** Try to plan doctor or therapy appointments so your child still attends part of the day or misses less critical classes like gym or electives. - **Keep records:** Always provide a signed note or doctor’s excuse for absences. Excused absences (like for illness or appointments) won’t count against your child. If your child misses more than 10% of school days, you will be referred to truancy court. Remember, even with challenges, your child can stay on track with support from you and the school. Let’s work together to ensure your child’s success!

Pictures with Santa is this Wednesday December 11, 2024. ONLY STUDENTS THAT WILL BE PURCHASING THE SANTA PICTURES ARE ALLOWED TO WEAR THEIR SUNDAY BEST. Parents please indicate on the envelope if you want your children to take pictures together. (Write in all siblings taking pictures together).

This Friday, December 13th will be the last day for 21st Century for the 2024 year, we will resume on January 21st, 2025.
